Katahdin Studio Furniture's Cellist Ensemble provides the essential elements to make the most of your time with your prized instrument.  When you order a cellist ensemble, you acquire a collection of artisan grade heirloom furniture that coordinates with a wide variety of decors and motifs.  Your acquistion is made at a substantial savings as well. 

Our Cellist Ensemble includes 3 pieces... our best selling 8 drawer Samoset sheet music cabinet, the Shaker Style Cello Cradle, and our best selling Penobscot music stand.

Each piece is professionally crafted here in our shop in Lewiston, Maine. 

Our Shaker Style Cello Cradle is influenced by the simple design motif of the Shakers. Featuring an obelisk shape shaft for clean lines and stability. A sliding wooden safety peg through the mouth of the yoke harbors the neck of the cello securely in place. Soundbox pads, inner yoke radius, and lower shaft are felt covered to protect your instrument.  A bow peg is provided at the rear of the shaft. The cello cradle is crafted from your choice of several solid hardwoods. Traditional hand-rubbed oil finish.  Dimensions: Base Assembly- 20" X 21"; Height- 43"; Distance from Soundbox Pads to bottom edge of Yoke is approximately 35"

Our Samoset Sheet Music Cabinet has been our best selling cabinet since it was introduced in the year 2000.  Now, its capacity has been increased by 25%, and more options are available.  Styled similarly to my popular Camden Sheet Music Cabinet, the Samoset offers 8 easy-slide drawers for quick access and organization.  Drawer handles shown are our signature Katahdin pulls... other styles are offered, including Shaker and brass.  Inner platforms are open-edged to facilitate convenient handling of music.  Top, sides, base and drawer facings are solid hardwood.  These cabinets are studio built one-at-a-time with care specifically for my client.  The cabinet shown in here in cherry.   Dimensions: Cabinet - at base and top - 18" wide X 14" deep, Unit height is 29"; Inner Drawers - 14" wide X 10 1/2" deep and 2 1/4" high.

The Penobscot Music Stand has a telescoping shaft that adjusts from 31” to 40” in height (shorter and longer shafts available), and rises diagonally to maximize knee and instrument clearance. T-shaped base provides stability and ample “foot” room. These ergonomic considerations enhance playing comfort and encourage you to spend more time with your instrument. Meticulously crafted from solid cherry, black walnut, red oak or other choices. Music pallet features a gracefully arched top and an accessory shelf. Pedestal and shaft assembly identical to Acadia model.  Hand-rubbed oil finish.  Dimensions: Pallet Assembly Body-19” X 14”; Music Shelf - 18" X 1 1/2"; Accessory Shelf-20" X 1 1/2" Base- 18” wide X 15” deep
